Target thread: Look for a discussion in the Solo Practice / Practice Management area where C-IAYT members ask for software recommendations or commiserate about admin hours. (owner: substitute the specific subforum / thread URL once located)
Hi all — solo C-IAYT practitioner here, ~6 years in. I built a small tool (SadhanaFlow) after watching intake → protocol → home practice consume 2–3 hours per new client and slowly steal my evenings.

Three things it does that I could not find anywhere else:

1. Standardized intake: clients complete biopsychosocial history (health hx, meds, surgeries, presenting concerns, sleep, etc.) online before the first session, so I am not scribbling while they sit across from me.
2. AI-drafted protocol: given the intake and presenting concerns, it generates a sequenced asana / pranayama / pratyahara draft I refine. Typically takes my 90-min protocol design down to ~15 min.
3. Branded home-practice page: each client gets a clean page with their asanas and embedded demo videos, plus optional email reminders so they are actually practicing between sessions.

I also use it for SOAP notes after each session.

Full disclosure: I built it, so weigh the recommendation accordingly. Happy to answer workflow questions. Free intake-to-protocol template is at https://sadhanaflow.com/intake?utm_source=forum-outreach if anyone wants to see the format before committing.

Target thread: Search for threads like “software for solo practice”, “recommend an EHR for yoga therapist”, or “how do you track clients”; reply should answer the specific question first, then share what you use. (verify before posting)
I ended up building my own (SadhanaFlow) because nothing off-the-shelf understood yoga therapy specifically. What I needed — and what generic scheduling tools or MD-focused EHRs do not handle — was:

- Pre-session intake that collects biopsychosocial health history online before the first session, so I am not scribbling while they sit there.
- AI-drafted individualized protocols: asana sequence + pranayama + modifications for contraindications + clinical rationale. ~15 min to refine instead of writing from scratch each time.
- A branded home-practice page per client (with optional email reminders) so they are practicing between sessions and I can update their protocol as they progress.

It also keeps session notes (SOAP format) for documentation. Generic scheduling apps handle appointments but not the clinical depth; an EHR built for MDs does not understand asana sequencing or pancha-kosha frameworks.

Full disclosure: I built it, so weigh the recommendation accordingly. If you want to see the intake-to-protocol format before committing, the free template is at https://sadhanaflow.com/intake?utm_source=forum-outreach — no card, no account.
